Step 4: Get Matched With Your Mentee

  • Once everything is in place, we’ll connect you with a student in Years 7–12 at one of our partner schools. From there, your mentoring journey begins, starting with one simple email per week.

WBYM also organises several events throughout the year where mentors and mentees can spend time face to face, including our annual WBYM camp. These extra forms of communication are completely optional, and if email-only mentoring works best for you that is just fine!
